I don't know of any way to test the ignition module with a meter.there expensive and hardly ever fail I can't remember the last time I had to replace one.the coils are more likely to fail then the module.let's start from the begining do u have spark at any of the coil towers?all u have to do is take off the wires on two coil towers and crank it over and watch for spark from tower to tower then put them back on and check the other two.give me some more info and I'll help u thru ur problem.does the car run if not what does it do?

I have no spark at plugs , already pulled wires at the coils there is no spark at the towers, checked crankshaft pos sensor with my meter it was in the range 772 ohms the specs allow 700 to 900 ohms checked coils also found to be in the range of 8k to 15k resistance there is a good ground at ign module. power to wire 1039 at plug for module
Any assistance you could give me would be greatly appreciated

on a flow chart (from GM for no spark code) that I have it says to check circuit 451 to B+ found 451 at connector. for B+ I had no idea what that was so I checked it as battery positive is this correct? I am thinking there is a short or open in the wiring somewhere. This car was recently purchased by sons girlfriends mom so have no history on this car.
What are the different paths the codes send you to?
Also on the rear of the engine between the heads there is a sensor with 2 wires someone wired it in kind of cheesy was wondering if this car could have a camshaft sensor?
Thanks for listening
