1997 Saturn SC2 Intermittent idle problem

I would remove your idle control valve figure 7 on my posted diagram from your throttle body get some carb spray and clean the tip of it and the port it sits in.In the opening of your throttle body theres a hole thats the port iam talking about.Also if you havent replaced your coolant temp sensor repalce it there only like 10 get a brassed tipped one the plastic tipped ones crack.Also inspect the connector going to it if its corroded then replace the connector as well.The coolant temp sensor is figure 6 in the diagram i posted dont pay attenion to the wrong year on the post its the same place as yours.Let me know what you find.
