I just purchased a 1993 saturn sc2. I bought the car with all the power windows and sunroof being out of commission. I just took it to a shop to fix the power windows but I held off on buying a sunroof motor because the cost was too high.

My car is slow to turn over sometimes - It can take sometimes as much as 5 seconds to turn over. I've noticed that when I do not use anything electrical in the car it turns over like a normal car. Could this be because the power windows and sunroof were broken and draining the battery? would the sunroof still be draining my batter since it is not fixed? Or do you think it is something with the electrical system in the car?

I havent yet checked the battery with a voltage meter because I figured the power windows were draining it and the terminals are spotless and battery appears to be new.

First thing i would do is have the battery and alternator tested then go from there.
