what might be the problem from cheapest to mosr expencive reasons of why my windows wont role up or down? and what does the little switch next to the shift knob that says:

Check your fuses. The switch changes the shift point where the transmission will shift so that the car will accelerate a little faster. This is for when you are merging onto the freeway and need extra speed.
