1994 Saturn SC2 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have replaced the fuel filter.. The car wants to start but is acting like it is not getting fuel. It has cranked over but as soon as it does it dies. I can hear the fuel pump engage.

Take two spark plug wires off the coil that are right next to each other have someone crank the engine while ur watching for spark jumping from post to post let me know what u find there.also even If u hear the fuel pump doesn't mean u have enough pressure to start and run.only way to be sure is to check the fuel pressure with a gauge.u could also just have a bad coolant temp sensor.try holding ur gas pedal all the way to the floor while ur trying to start it if it starts keep holding the gas pedal down see if it clears up some and runs.let me know what u find.
