1999 Saturn SC1 side view mirror

Simple question. I hit the side view mirror on the garage and it fell off. It's in perfect condition but. I need something to put it back on. There is a little stub that the clip came off on the inside. But I was thinking I could replace with glue. What could I use to put it back on.

the side mirror should be bolted on by 3 mirrors, a plastic clip with glue will never hold it on.. if the area where the bolts were at broke, which they must have or it wouldn't have fallen off, then the assembly needs replaced.
