1996 Saturn SC1 4 cyl Manual

my car will start but will not idle, once I hit the gas peddle it dies.... it slowely dies when it tries to idle, have changed the battery and spark plugs.

Hello,

First is engine light on? If so would greatly help with diagnosis if you are able to get a scan tool to pull codes.

Here are a few possibilities....

Throttle Position Sensor

Idle Air Control Valve

Fuel Pump

Fuel Pressure Regulator

Vacuum Leak
