I have a 2002 Saturn LS2 4-cyl 2.2L with 87,400 miles. Last night I had the car in drive, I applied the
brakes and then put the car in park. After I put the car in park the rpms immediately went up to 3,000. I turned the engine off and then on and then went through the same steps that gave me the initial problem. The problem did not occur the second time nor has it any other time. Could this be counted as a fluke occurance or the start of a part going bad?
Thank you, allan
