2000 Saturn SL1 (I'm new here)
The dealear wants approx $400 to do this and says my rotors are too rusty . i drove this car everyday for 4 yrs, how do the rotors get too rusty. the car was inspected by the dealer since i bought the the car with 27,000 miles. i am forced to doothe brakes myself. is it ok to work on the brakes ouside in my driveway in the cold 30 deg. end of january. i do not mind saving money or being in the cold but is it gonna effect the job or safety of replacing the parts out in the cold!!??
