1997 Other Saturn Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 120k miles

I was recently in an accident that totally took off my driver side fender and put a hole in my windshield. It also messed up the hood a little but it doesnt seem to be affecting anything. The car is sitting at a nearby dealership where they told me the damage amounts to approximately $2,000 but I had to drive it around for a couple days before I got a rental car. The insurance guys gave me 2 options: I can either take $3,000 and keep the car and get a salvage title... or I can take $3,500 give or take and they keep the car. What do you think I should do??
