1996 Other Saturn Models help

Hi today when I tried to start my car, it showed the service engine light and also key was stuck at first. got key out and put back in, car making light clanking noise from engine area. wont start on first try. has oil and gas in it. the car has been touchy with door locks for a long time, you have to make sure the door lock button is in certain place when locking door or it will continue a clicking noise. You need to replace that door lock switch it could draining your battery.I would also have a new key made at saturn don't copy the old worn out one and see if that fix's your not being able to turn the key some time's.With your service engine soon light go to a auto parts store like autozone have them scan your car for codes if you have any bring me back the numbers.After you get the codes then have them test your battery and alternator.Let me know what you find.
