Hi, sounds like the turn signal flasher is bad and needs replacing.

The turn signals on my 2003 LW300 quit working too. Husband replaced the turn signal arm in the steering column but the lights still not on. Hazards and everything else work; things on the arm (headlights) work too.

Would love to fix this ourselves as we just plunked $1900 into repairing/upkeeping the engine...

Sorry for the slow response. Did you get this problem resolved? If not I wanted to ask you if you checked the fuses?

I know this is an old topic already answered but I just went through this on my 2003 L300 and will add my experience too. Symptoms where the left and right turn signals appeared to not flash, or flash only once and stop. I observed for several minutes and realized they were in fact flashing, just very, very, very slowly.

I looked in the usual fuse box locations for a turn signal or flasher relay. There was none. Suspected it would be hidden under the dash but nope, not there either.

Online searching revealed the flasher relay is built into the hazard lights switch itself. I went back to the car and tried the hazard lights. Exact same symptom as turn signals, one instant flash, then super slow every once in a while it would flash again. Al bulbs working.

Began checking all local auto parts stores via their websites. Found the Dorman Hazard Switch 924-616 for $30 in stock.

Installing is all about popping off the trim around the center dash collection of controls and the A/C vents. Ran into breaking plastic here due to age of vehicle. Barely flexing broke that chrome-plated plastic off in sections. The assembly did pop off and hang on three connections.

The central plug as an obvious release on it, got that off. But the old switch is held in by the old, now brittle, plastic of the central dash molding. There appear to be what look like two catches, one either side of the where the hazard switch slides in. After much effort, got those to release. The new switch slides in, plug in the cable and it now all works normally.

Main issues remaining are old plastic pieces to either glue back together or shop online for new/old part.

Or drive as is and stop spending money on it.
