2002 Saturn L300 Security System Issue

When I started my car last night, the security light on the dash flickered off and on. When I locked the car using the remote, the doors would not lock and the alarm went off. Any ideas on what may be causing this?

Hi, many GM products have a problem with the alarm control module, it sounds like your is having a problem, replace with new and recheck.
