My service engine soon light came on and I took to the repair shop and they told me that the Oxygen Sensor needed to be replaced. They wanted quite a bit of money to do this.

Where is the Oxygen Sensor located and is this something that is easy to fix? Second, is there a diagram anywhere on the Internet I can go look at how to fix it?

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Your vehicle has four oxygen sensors. There is one on each exhaust manifold and one each on each pipe after the catalytic converter.

You will need to know which sensor is the faulty one.

As for the replacement of the sensors, they can be replaced using simple hand tools. Just keep in mind to replace when the engine is cool.

The price of the oxygen sensor (depending on which one) will cost around $45.00 to $80.00.

Here is a helpful guide:

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
