I am installing a remote start on my Ion. The wiring diagram that came with it is confusing on location of the starter wire and wire for GM passlock. I need to find the wire for passlock so I can run one wire to data side and one wire to key side. I also need the same for starter(key side and starter side) The diagram says there is a blk/white and white under the hood that does both but is confusing me. I would prefer to find them under dash or near ignition.
