Transmission swap from CVT to M43

Just bought this car in April and I have been reading and hearing nothing but bad things about the CVT transmission. Is it possible for me to switch it to a M43 because the CVT just went out on me? I am not a mechanic however. Please get back with me.

The transmission swap is viable because it has it's own module. It has been done successfully on other Ion's.

I recommend you replace it with the same unit or get another car. Sorry nothing you can do.
