1999 Saturn Aura Reverse is slow to engage

In the older "S" model saturns with automatic trans they usually have two problems that both can cause a slow reverse issue. The first problem would within the value body assemblely. There is what they call a spool value that sticks and can cause they trans to bang or slow engage into reverse, the entire value body would have to be replaced. The other issue would be the input shaft nut comes loose on the input shaft undernieth the side cover on the side of the trans, this would just require that you remove the side cover, replace the nut and tighten to proper tourqe which is 111 fl/lbs.
