1996 Saab 900 fuel pump

i have just replaced the fuel pump on my `97 saab900, on mine access could not be gained under rear seat so i had to remove fuel tank. on top of tank carefully remove fuel pump line and fuel return line, unplug electrical connector block, then unscrew retaining ring and take pump out. Be very careful not to break plastic connectors on fuel lines when removing. Very Delicate!!!

I pulled the rear seat and cut a circle of carpet and then the metal over the pump. If you remove the rubber plug you will see the wires and plug for power. The pump is more toward the center of the car. I used an air body saw and cut carefully the size of a coolwhip bowl. Then we siliconed the metal and carpet back when finished.
