I just, about 1000 miles ago, had to have my turbo replaced and since my check engine light goes on and off intermittently. More on than off. I replaced the plugs and air filter. After that it was off for a while but has come back on.

Any ideas or suggestions where to go from here? O2 sensor. In my readings I noticed there may be a front and rear sensor also. Is that the case.

Also the ligh comes on at when I start the car. Never when driving and it doesn't go off until I start the car again.

I have checked to make sure the gas cap is on tightly.

I appreciate the help!

Hi rmdewsnap, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the doantion

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

These are misfires code, could be the wrong type spark plugs or the direct ignition coil

Found some discussions on some other sites and they stated could be caused by poor fuel deliver or low octane fuel. I changed the fuel filter, put in some very good injector cleaner and some octane booster and it's running like a champ. I think the real culprit was the fuel filter. From the look of it, it was never replaced in 70k miles. I bout the car used a year or so ago.

Thanks.
