2001 Saab 9-5 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic ±100000 miles
My Saab failed to start after finishing our errands, but after checking a few things out I could'nt find any visible defects. While on the phone with a saab tech, he advised to disconnect the battery, wait 2 minutes and re-connect the battery. The car did start, but CHECK ENGINE light and TCS light came on, which got us home ok. The following day there was a clicking noise coming for the Throttle Body and the engine stalled every time I came to a stop. After droping the car off to my mechanic he'd advised me that the OBD II was reading ERROR and that by disconnecting the battery, it may have wiped the entire ECM program. Needless to say, I'm perturbed and don't know what I should do next?
