2000 Saab 9-5 water pump

NO u do not need to raise engine just support engine with jack with rubber pads or a piece of wood then remove upper engine mount support bracket after that ,now just remove air intake tube from turbo & partually move power steering pump to the side behide headlamp assembly after removing drive belt partually & now u need to remove water feed tube from back of water pump just take 10mm bolt out & pull tube out partually the water pump has 3 13mm bolts 2 at top & 1 at the bottom ,also there is a 12mm banjo bolt at the bottom coming up from oil filter adapter area u will need to loose that banjo bolt there too so that when u pull the bottom banjo bolt at waterpump the tube will fall down on top of a/c compressor ,after all that remove waterpump & take adapter out of block & change o-ring seals just remember how to refit ,good luck.

oh there is also a other 10mm both at the other end of tube from back of water pump that u need to remove also .
