our battery was replaced 3 months ago - the car starts on a daily basis but if it sits over the weekend or for a few days, the car is dead and has to be jumped, we took it back to sears yesterday thinking the battery was bad but they tested the battery and alternator and said they were fine, any ideas?

also - the amplifier went on the car and needs to be replaced, we are going to try and do it ourselves and know it is under the drivers seat, is there any special tools needed to remove the seat?

As far as the seat, nothing special is needed. Now the battery issue. I need you to check if there is a draw on the battery all of the time when the car is off. Here is a how to for checking it. By doing this, we will identify it the problem is an electrical issue with the vehicle or if infact the battery is bad.

Here it is:

If you would like to check the alternator, here is the how to for that too. It isn't hard and doesn't require any expensive equipment.

Let me know what you find.
