2003 Saab 9-3 repair Question Xenon headlight bulb replaceme

remove headlamp rubber boot cover from bulb section at back of lamp assembly,now turn ballist clockwise to remove unplug wiring from ballist 1st ,than bulb has a wire type lock pull & remove bulb but pay attention to how bulb is set in housing ,also pay attention to how ballist was taken off ,the ballist also has a lock if that shifts u will not be able to refit correctly ,if after u replace bulb & light still inop u will need to replace the control unit mounted under the bottom side of said lamp assembly ,good luck.remember to refit wiring to ballist .
