2001 Saab 9-3 repair Question car wont start unless i pour g

first things first did you check for blown fuses ,if so than check if you have fuel pressure at the fuel injector rail at the top of the eng ,just infront and below the engine oil filler neck section ,there is a black valve looking cap screwed on to the test port ,unscrew and press shreader valve if gas spray out than you have fuel pressure ,which inturn says to you that the pump is working ,so good luck
