I bought this vehicle almost 4 months ago, and it's developed a problem with the water reservor. I have to keep filling the water after 2 days of driving. The "Check Enging Coolant" lights on the dash, signaling low liquid. And when I check the ground, there's no visable sign of leaks. However, I can faintly smell the scent of burnt coolant on the sides of the car. The smell doesn't last long, but I can smell it. What are your thoughts on the problem?

Well I would have the system pressure tested to see if there is any leaks in any of the hoses or? If that checks out then I would have a chemical test done to make sure there isn't any combustion gases getting into the radiator indicating a blown gasket.
