One hot summer day sitting at a stop light suddenly my engine light came on, my rpm dropped to 500, and my cruise control quit working. I took it to my local mechanic who wasn't that familiar with SAAB's and he reset the throttle body. Everything worked fine for about 10 minutes and then the same thing happened again. He ran a test and told me that the throttle body was bad, I bought a rebuilt one and he installed it but the exact same thing happened again. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,,,

He didn't tell me what the code was or if he even checked for a code after we put the new throttle body in.
