The breaks squeak when I first apply normal braking but go away as I continue to hold the breaks. I do not know if its the master cylinder or the front or rear break that produce the noise. What could this noise be? [img:66af704c9a]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/553788_saab_wheel_1.jpg[/img:66af704c9a]

Brake squeal is a symptom of the vibration generated by the brake pad contacting with the rotor and the caliper.

Try replacing the brake pads and go from the there-brake rotors might need resurfacing
