Runs a few miles then acts like it is running out of gas

I have the truck listed above K2500 4×4 3/4 ton truck converted it to quadrajet 4 barrel carburetor new and street fire distributor which is new was running great but now goes 3 or 4 miles and acts like it's running out of gas. sits a few minutes and cranks back up then does it again. is it vapor locking?

Good morning,

It could be. The fuel pump on the side of the motor should deliver about 7 pounds of pressure to the carburetor. If it does not, then the fuel could boil and this is the result.
