Ruff idle and jerking on hyway

Hay so my car has this strange jerking wen iam drivein on the hyway and wen i am at stop lights or just in my drivway it idles realy ruff i changed the altonator no luck bought a new batery no luck today i canged the fule filter and that seemed to work but i drove itto kamloops and back home witch is about 200km round trip and it started doing it agin i have no clue what to do

You have a common misfire. That has nothing to do with the charging system or fuel filter. The most likely cause is it's time for new spark plugs and wires. In the unlikely event those don't solve the problem, then start looking for less common things like a plugged fuel injector or low compression in one cylinder. A valve or compression problem won't be intermittent.
