Usually when I press the gas going straight, RPM's will go up to 5000 RPM's, however under 10 mph. When I turn left or right, the car doesn't seem to accelerate at all not even slowly hardly. The car will make a noise where it sounds like something is scraping is against something.

Good morning,

Can you upload a video of the noise for me to hear?

As far as the slipping, did you verify the fluid level?

How long since the fluid and filter was changed? A clogged filter will cause this issue as well.

Yes of course. the first video is an example of the rpm's going up while I press the gas pedal kind of slowly. The second will be the noise I was talking about. It’s kinda faint I have to listen close to hear it. Sorry there were other cars in the area.

Thank you.

it sounds like it is starving for fluid from a clogged filter in the transmission.

I would start by changing the fluid and filter and see if there is any debris in the bottom of the pan.

I would also like to add that I have had a drop in fuel economy. I’ve only driven 42 miles and I had lost a quarter of a tank. My mpg on the highway is supposed to be 28-29 mph.

That is because the transmission is not working correctly. The engine has to run at a higher RPM. That burns the additional fuel.
