My rpm gauge reads almost 3,000 at speed of 70 mph and feels like it's not going into overdrive.

It does sound like the car is not going into overdrive. can I ask if the engine seems to have power? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Also, lets run the codes to see what comes up.
