2003 Rover 45 wont start

I wqas driving along when tacho and speedo went to zero then i lost power and engine stopped. When i try to start it a get a constant beep beep beep sound and nothing happens . Not the long immobiliser beeps but short sharp beeps

There could be numerous reasons for this fault ..cambelt broke/sensor failure/computer failure could even be something as simple a a loose wire etc. etc. etc. to many to mention .. the vehicle needs to be plugged in to a diagnostic computer and looked at by a qualified tech .. to locate the fault .. hope this helps a little
