My car is intermittently making noises. Sometimes it makes a high pitched whistling sound, other times it makes a clicking or turning sound. Also, not all the time but occaisionally, when I brake the car makes a unhealthy crunching sound and lurches forward (sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right). The strange thing is these symptoms don't occur everytime. They seem to occur more often at the start of the day or during long journeys.
