1999 Rover 2 Series water coming from exhaust pipe

I havent been using the car, and after sitting unused for a while water comes from the exhaust pipe when the engine is revved. Is this a sign of a problem with the head gasket?

there could just be a build up of condensation in the exhaust .. I would run the vehicle for a while before worrying .. it will most probably clear up ! or you could have a cylinder compression test carried out to ease your worries ..!
