My car is overheating can you help? it first started about 5 mins from home , bubbling noise from the expansion bottle cap and temp gauge was up 3/4. stopped let it cool topped up and nursed it home. Tried refilling and bleeding system but still does it. Replaced the thermostat and rad cap, poured watering can through rad ok but same problem exists. No water in oil or vice versa, no bubbles in header when running. It seems like no flow, at first the heater was cold but a couple of attempts to drain and refill mean the heater now works, the temp gauge stays at mid temp for a fair while before eventualy the bubbling out of the bottle starts again when the temp gauge hits 3/4, driving around the block found that going round corners seems to bring on the bubbling quicker ( dont understand that!! ) and when the bubbling occurs the top rad hose is hot the fan working fine but the bottom hose is cold as is the water bubbling out of the expansion tank. Car is a Rover 200 1.4 16v s reg and pump was changed 6 mths ago by previous owner
