Rough idle with a/c on

The fan is supposed to run all the time with AC on. The AC requires it. As far as running rough, some irregularity is expected with AC as the compressor adds more load to the engine. If it's excessive you should have it looked at to determine if there is an issue. Have the computer scanned for codes. This could reveal some hints as to what is going on if anything.

Thanks for responding quickly. I feel better now knowing it's common for my car. I've never owned a foreign made car so I'm still adjusting.
