There is a check engine light that is coding for the throttle body, there is also an EPC light. When the car is cold there are no issues with the idle sticking, but when the car heats up, there are no issues until about 1,500 RPM's then the idle starts to stick and you have to push the pedal down further to push through it. Also when the rpm's get about 1,500 the engine shakes significantly more than usual. But when it pushes through the engine stops shaking. I replaced the entire gas pedal in hopes of it being a accelerator pedal position sensor, but nothing. Spark plugs were changed, and I also put a screwdriver on every fuel injector to listen for the tapping sound, and I heard it on everyone.

Hi,

Can you tell me specifically what code is stored that is related to the throttle body? The electronic throttle control light can result from a few different things. It could be related to the throttle valve control module, which I have test for, but I don't want to send you to check things that may be a waste of time.

Let me know if you have the code and what it is.

Take care,
Joe
