Rotate engine to remove back spark plugs

I need to change the back spark plugs.

According to what I researched thus far, GM states that it is best practice to rotate the engine. While there are videos out there that shows you how to do this, the challenge is however, is finding the correct resources necessary for the specific application for the 2000-2005 model years.

While do I have the Haynes repair manual, and it does have the instruction to connect the ratchet strap to the engine and to the frame or radiator core for support, but it does not the visuals to perform this portion of the operation.

I am respectfully request some form of visual support in the regards to properly strapping and securing the engine of the engine listed above for rotation.

Not all model years will rotate due to mount locations and those have to be done right where they sit. For the ones that will roll somewhat, there is a tool made that goes in place of the dogbone mount to draw the engine forward. The space gained is minimal though.

Thanks for the information! The GM Engine Moving Tool is quite intriguing. I assure you, this operation IMO, engine requires rotation. I supplied photos. I can feel around and get to one and three, but five is too difficult for me.

Is the GM Engine Moving Tool comparable with my vehicle?

I have been doing this a long time. I have done those without moving the engine and far worse. Many have to be reached from below.

If you have a dog bone mount in the front, that is where that tool fits but the placement of other mounts on the engine may severely restrict the engine movement.
