I am considering trying to replace the left side roof drip edge molding myself on our vehicle (no luggage rack). Before I order the part I am trying to figure out how the retainer clip that the molding attaches to is held in place? I am assuming some sort of adhesive.

These are the daigams I could find for the roof molding I found this tech service bulletin I think it will help you fix the problem. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
