Rocker panels?

Me again Steve: I talked to you earlier about my truck rocker panels and exhaust manifolds. Do you have any diagrams on removing the manifolds and quarter panels? My important question before I launch in any repairs is about the rocker panels. The metal part that the rocker panels are attached too are rotted clear through in some places. Is this part of the frame? If so, this truck has seen its better days and I will definitely have to get another one.

Can you take some pictures of the rusted areas? I suspect you are seeing the inner and outer rocker panels but would like to be sure. The frame is the larger part that everything attaches to, bumpers, box, cab, suspension, drivetrain. The rockers are bad enough to deal with but for frame rot you want to grab a chipping hammer and go under the truck and check the frame all along it. Before you do anything, you want to be sure the frame itself is solid. There are tons of videos of that process online, it would be the first thing to check. There are companies that make repair panels for them, but a rotted frame isn't something I would even bother with. Do all the manifolds, fix the body and then discover that the frame is shot and you will want to take a baseball bat to the truck.
