I have done the following: changed bulbs, sockets look good, checked fuses they are good, there is no DRL relay in fuse box under the hood. Have checked for power at the right side wiring harness. No power with DRL’s on, power when head lights are on. I am suspecting an issue with the BCM. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

I just went through the wiring schematics and if you have power to the left DRL, the right should have it as well. They receive power from the same point.

Take a look at the attached pic. There should be a dark blue wire that powers both. Note that they split from the fuse box, but both have the same power source. There must be a break in that wire at some point. I would start tracing it back until you find where the break is located.

Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.

Thanks, I’ll check. One thing I did notice in my under the hood fuse box is that I have 2 fuses marked DRL. Fuse 31 and 33. I pulled both fuses and the left DRL never went out. Head scratcher!!

Hi,

That sounds like you have a short to power. However, that makes no sense as to why the one side has no power. Have you had any chance since we spoke to check the connection at the box I mentioned?

No I haven’t. Probably won’t be until the weekend. I’ll let you know what I find.

Sounds like a plan. Check to see under the fuse panel if you can locate the wire shown in the aforementioned post. Something may have come apart there and preventing power to one side and shorting to power on the opposite.

Take care and let me know what I can do to help.
