check engine light came on

after cleaning throttle body the engine revolution went high and check engine light came on.

try disconnecting the battery or scan for codes to erase. Did it to a car I had some time ago. leave the battery disconnected for a couple of minutes. the computer will erase any memory. Then start car up. If you do not scan for trouble codes then you will have to drive about fifty miles before the computer resets itself.
