Reverse gear hard to engage

Hi, reverse gear is usually tricky to engage. sometimes I have to move it to first and then into reverse. all other gears are absolutely fine and pulls well. I had clutch replaced as needed it and this didn't resolve the issue. I heard this issue is common with Ford's but unsure what this problem is. anyone had a similar issue that could help.

Honestly, that is common on just about any car. Basically, you are aligning things in the transmission when you go to first and then reverse. You can do the same by pressing the clutch pedal up and down two or three times.

Try double clutching it to see if that works. If it doesn't, I really suspect nothing is wrong.
