Replacing wheel studs?

Front passenger tire. Trying to replace studs and lug nuts noticed that the brand material is easier to mess up the threads. Didn't know I have to take off the bolts for lower ball joint and for the struts in order to get the hub off. Just to get studs out and to get back in....just checking if there's any other option that I missed...

Hi,

The proper way to replace it is to remove the hub assembly, which is a big job. What I have done (not telling you to do it) is grind a small portion of the base off so that you can get the angle needed to install it.

Take a look at the pic I tried to draw. See if you grind it like that if you will be able to get it installed.
