Replacing the ignition switch actuator

I have the car listed above 2 door convertible. I was having problems with the ignition so i replaced the ignition switch and accidentally broke off the pin of the actuator. now i'm having a heck of a time trying to find out if my car has the actuator as one piece or can it drop down like the 2005 pt cruiser make and models. if you can help me with this i would really appreciate it. thanks

Hi,

To the best of my knowledge, it is one piece. You indicated going to a 2005. That won't work. A 2006 has the same part number, so it should. However, a 2005 has a different part number.

Here is Chrysler's part number for the switch: 4685719AD

I attached the install directions below in the event you need them.
