We had to have the 4x4 drive shaft removed due to it slipping into neutral going down the highway. Was wondering what parts do I need to fix the drive shaft joints or should I just replace the thing as a whole?
I'm on a budget but I don't want it to be half hazard either. what would be better for me in the long run? Have to replace the exhaust too.

Just to clarify, you are replacing either the entire driveshaft or the universal joints for it slipping to neutral on the highway?

If this is the case, I doubt the drive shaft is the issue. However, here is all the info on what you asked for on the U-Joints. You do not need to replace the entire shaft if the joints are an issue but it is much easier to replace it.

Let me know if I am not understanding something and we can go from there. Thanks
