Replacing hydraulic line for the clutch

Got one end off but the other end that's closer to the power brake booster isn't as easy to get to since its underneath a bunch of fuse boxes etc. If there's instructions on how to get that out and off. The part I went and piled up from GM came with the elbow that has a bleeder and the other end that has an attachment to the end of the flexible hydraulic end. also has a bleeder and whatever connects to the master clutch cylinder.

Hi,

The replacement of the line requires the removal of the underhood bussed electrical center, (UBEC). Basically, it's the fuse box you are referring to. If not removed, there really isn't any room to access the clutch master cylinder.

If you look below, I attached the directions for clutch hose replacement and the bleeding procedure follows replacement.

Before you remove the box, disconnect the negative battery terminal.

How do I remove the UBEC? so far I have the top but still has the majority of the cables underneath still connected. Just wanted to make sure if there was more than I can see to remove.

Hi,

Is it possible for you to take a picture of where you are in the procedure so I can better advise? As far as the UBEC, to totally remove it will require that you disconnect the harnesses to it. Is that what you are referring to?

Was able to fit my hand to get the wire back on that holds the two together. But had trouble putting the fuse box back into place. Just got it as close as I could and will finish it later. Just glad was able to get the car moving again. Thank you for all your knowledge and assistance.
