can you see what the book says about how to change this sensor. I looked but cannot find it and very hard to see anything from above or bottom

The crankshaft sensor is near the rear of the engine, you need to remove the air filter housing to get to it. Look down where the engine block meets the bell housing. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else. Ken

Geez its so tight you cant see a thing. Inwas able to unplug it from the top, but i can probably get to the bolt from the bottom but i cant see it. Would you happen to know what size and shape the screw is?

Done. Geezalo with, who designs these motors? 20 cuts and bruises later I was able to get it done from the top. If my hands were thick I would not have been able to get it done. The sensor was orangish with what looks like rut, not sure if that was why I had the code. I am waiting on the low pressure sensor on the rail as I still have code p2542
