Replacing cam sensor

If I am understanding your question the answer is yes. You remove the one bolt that is holding it in and pull it out. It has a seal on it so you may have to pull with a little force.

This is the part the dealer told me it was. it's called the operating valve position sensor located on the side of the head close to the firewall passenger side.

That is different then the cam sensor. That is for your variable valve timing system.

I included a document that shows number 1 is the part they told you about and number 3 is the cam sensor.

To answer your question, it looks like this just unbolts by the one screw and you pull it out. There is an o-ring that must be changed and then you torque it back to 9Nm.

I need to replace cam sensor got code p0341 or p0351 dealer told me that this was the sensor location side of the head close to the firewall passenger side close to the timing gear vin#3VWSA69M75M018012 dealer part#:06A906455B. Please help

It is behind the camshaft gear. I attached a picture. Let me know if that is what you needed.

My car does not have the sensor behind the timing gear as shown in your picture it has a bbw motor v# 3VWSA69M75M028012 it has this on side of head close to the cam gear but not behind the dealer called it a operating valve position sensor, i need to know if this is it and do you just loosen the bolt and take out and put new one in no adjustments?
