So I've have the vehicle listed above 1.3CDTi MK5 and it was having a check engine light code reading p0107. I tried to follow some YouTube tutorials on how to check if you have a bad boost pressure sensor but most had tutorials for 3 wired sensors whilst mine is 4 wires.
I tried having a go and seeing if I could find ground, power and signal but I think it was a little beyond my capabilities. I did a resistance test and gathered around 5 Ohms on the sensor. I'm not sure if this was correct for this type of sensor but watching a tutorial, a guy was repairing his Mazda and he said his standard measured around 5 Ohms whilst the turbo version measured around 15.
So I decided to replace the boost pressure sensor with a new one. I erased the codes and started the car but the check engine light came back with the same error code. Is there anything else I can do to test/fix it?
Thanks
